The ceremony was attended by deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van An, vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Luong Van Hai, representatives leaders of departments/branches/agencies, political-social organizations, people’s armed forces, as well as nearly 2,000 athletes.
The events are parts of activities to mark the 73rd anniversary of Vietnam’s Physical Training Day, the founding anniversary of Vietnam Sports Sector (March, 27), and the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26).Under the motto “Walking more than 10,000 steps can change your life”, those running contests aim to encourage the whole people to keep physical training by walking to improve their physical health.
