Accordingly, a certificate of merit was awarded to the traditional boat race team of Binh Thuan province after they won 6 gold, 2 silver and one bronze medal, ranked the second at the National Traditional Boat Race 2019. At the same time, seven individuals were given certificates of merit of the provincial People’s Committee, including: two Taekwondo artists Nguyen Thi Le Kim and Nguyen Thi Kim Ha (with outstanding performances at the international events), two canoieng racers Phan Ngoc Sang and Tran Minh Hieu (with good performances at the Southeast Asia Canoeing Championship 2019, three coaches Nguyen Quoc Hung (Taekwondo), Phan Dang Nguyen (Canoeing) and Tran Van Nguyen (traditional boat race).
These awards are considered as an encouragement of the provincial leader for local athletes who gained high performance and contributed to the province sports development.
