In particular, merited artist Mai Trung Kien – choreographer at Bien Xanh Music and Dance Troupe officially became “People’s Artist”; another two outstanding artists were named meritorious artists include instrumentalist Nguyen Van Hiep, who is working as a bandmaster of Bien Xanh Music and Dance Troupe, and director Ngo Dang Khoa – Chief of Arts & Sports News office-Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station.
Implementing plan to honour titles ” People’s Artist”, Meritorious artist” at eighth timein 2015,ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism has received 114 documents for “People’s Artist” and 416 documents for “Meritorious Artist” from 46 councils at ministerial and provincial levels to submit to the State Council. Reportedly, Binh Thuan now has totally 2 People’s Artists and 4 Meritorious Artists.
