This year’s competition took place from June 29th to July 10th, attracting about 1,700 players from 43 units across the country. The chess players are in different age groups from 9, 11, 13 and 15 years old.
The Binh Thuan team has 15 chess players competing in traditional and standard chess competitions under the ages of 9, 11, 13 and 15.
The Tournament, entitled the Vietcombank Cup, is supposed as a good competition for young players with high achievements. In addition to 64 cups, the players can grasp a chance to enter to the world junior chess championship in 2020.
