After 8 day s of competition, Binh Thuan team, which included 21 martital artists and 2 coaches, won 3 gold medals (by athlete Pham Huynh Yen My, Huynh Thi Thuy Diem, and Le Ngoc Huy) and 3 silver medals, ranked the 8th place among 33 teams.
Ho Chi Minh city takes the lead at this tournament, followed by Can Tho and Vinh Long province. With such encouraging result, Binh Thuan has proved the effectiveness of the investment in developing young talents in vovinam.
