Binh Thuan athlete won gold medal at 2020 Asian Taekwondo championship

BTO – An Online Asian Taekwondo Championship on the platform of Taekwonsoft took place from November 12th to 14th, 2020. This is an official tournament of the continent held for the first time by the Asian Taekwondo Association in 2020. The Championship attracted crowded participation of Taekwondo athletes from the Asian countries.

Athlete Nguyen Thi Kim Ha

Reportedly, Vietnam Taekwondo Association suggested only 4 localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, An Giang and Binh Thuan to take part in this Asian Taekwondo Championship.

After 3-day-competition, athlete Nguyen Thi Kim Ha from Binh Thuan province outstandingly defeated many athletes from other countries at the three consecutive rounds to be present at the final round with 8 athletes from South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, Iran, and Vietnam.

At the final round, Kim Ha performed her high-skilled movements and won gold medal with an excellent score of 7,700 although there were many strong opponent including athlete Yeo-won GWAK from South Korea.

By earning a gold medal at such prestigious and high-quality tournament, it shows that athlete Nguyen Thi Kim Ha has made much more professional progress and matured through international competitions.
