BTO- The 2016 “Binh Thuan youth join hands to protect the marine environment” program, entitled “Take action for the green, clean and beautiful environment” was co-held by the HCYC of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (BCST), Phu Quy district and Ngo Quyen high school on Phu Quy island district on April 21.
The significant event is to raise the community’s awareness of responsible tourism for the environment; to create more conditions and chances for youth union members to promote their vanguard and volunteer roles in an effort to keep and make the living environment more clean, green and nice-looking. The event also calls for people to join hand in protecting the natural scenery, green environment and promote the local tourism potentiality.
The grassroots' foundation of the HCYU’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism granted 20 scholarships, worth VND 500,000 each, to poor and studious students in the locality and some CD and books featuring Binh Thuan homeland were to Ngo Quy high school at the event. Besides, the foundation awarded the HCYU of Phu Quy district 10 regulations on sea environment protection, CD and books featuring Binh Thuan homeland.
