About 30 households on sections of Hoang Van Thu and Ngo Si Lien streets in DucThang ward (Phan Thiet City) have been locked down and being under stringent quarantine conditions for 3 weeks (from March 13 until April 3). The measure was taken after the locality reported new Covid-19 infection cases related to the 34th patient, who lives nearby the area.
Besides meals, waters and essential items provided by local authorities, young police officers have give residents in locked down areas rice, eggs, vitamine C and some commodities for their daily activities, contributing to helping them feel secure and comfort during the isolation period.
