Under the theme “Binh Thuan Community College’s youth join hands in building new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas”, 4 volunteer teams have been set up to get involved in a line-up of activities in the communes of Duc Tan, Mang To (Tanh Linh district) and Da Mi (Ham Thuan Bac district).
During this one-month campaign, youth will finish the following tasks: building and repairing 3 kilometers of rural road, organizing four “Green Sundays”, constructing one irrigation barrage and one “security light” work, opening 3 summer classes for local children to review their lessons, presenting 60 gifts to policy-favoured households; and mobilizing youth to donate 100 blood units. Also, the campaign’s steering committee will send a special team to help do wall murals in nursery schools and elementary schools in the localities.
On that occasion, Binh Thuan Community College youth union awarded a donation of VND 20 million to Duc Tan commune’s youth union for the construction of an irrigation barrage. Youth of the provincial Military Headquarters and Border Guard offered 30 presents to poor families and disadvantaged students.
