Workshop looks for solutions to enterprises’ growth in post-Covid-19

BTO – A workshop on “Urgent solutions and pertinent strategies for the Binh Thuan enterprises’ sustainable development in Post Covid-19 crisis” was held on Tuesday morning (June 30th). The workshop had the participation of Binh Thuan Forestry One Member Limited Company, Institute of Strategies Research of HCMC Food Industry University and representative office of VCCI in Binh Thuan. Additionally, there were some scientists from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, leaders of the local agencies and associations.

An overview of the workshop

At present, the Covid-19 pandemic has so far made great impact on the global economy. In Vietnam, the pandemic has also affected on several business sectors such as: tourism, export processing industries. Similarly, a number of Binh Thuan’s enterprises have been mired in recession due to Covid-19 crisis. Therefore, a concerning question is how to help those affected-enterprises to stabilize production and develop sustainably in the Post-Covid-19 period.

Tourism sector has been seriously affected by the Covid-19 pandemic

Regarding to the matter, scientists and businesses participants have discussed various urgent solutions. Initially, it is necessary to evaluate and choose the right beneficiary subjects and deploy the Government bailout packages timely.

For enterprises, they should find out domestic materials in replacement for imported materials, keep on manufacturing and updating technologies. Another important solution is to search for new products and new domestic markets so that they can shine again when opportunities come.
