BTO – The People’s committee of Binh Thuan province has recently approved an investment project of DT.714 road, sectioned through Dong Giang mountain pass (Ham Thuan Bac district). Accordingly, the scale of the investment project covers a total length of 2,981 meters, on the level 4 of mountainous pass, and a roadbed of 9 meters. Its structure is asphalted macadam with a designed speed of 40 km per hour. The project belongs to Group C, has a total investment capital of VND 39,994 million sourced from the provincial budget in the 2016-2020 period.
The DT 714 route has a total length of 21.5 km through Dong Giang and Dong Tien communes (Ham Thuan Bac district), linking with Tanh Linh and Duc Linh districts. About 18.44 km of the route has been upgraded and newly built, but the remaining through Dong Giang pass is seriously damaged and waits for budget.
