Up to VND 5.4 billion relief aid given to flood victims in central region

Of which, donors have transferred more than VND 2.9 billion  to the provincial Relief Fund, directly visited and gave a total relief aid of VND 2.5 billion to people in central provinces. Besides, the provincial Red Cross has received a donation of VND 11 million in cash along with other items, such as: 210 boxes of instant noodles, 300 kilos of rice, fresh milk, condensed milk, 100 kilos of sugar, 100 liters of cooking oil, canned fish, 100 bottles of soya sauce, 12 bags of second-hand clothes.

These items were directly presented to needy people in the central region. The unit also sent an aid group to Quang Binh and Ha Tinh provinces to hand over  400 gifts (valued at VND 160 million) and 800 gifts (VND 400 million) to flood-hit residents. Social organizations in Binh Thuan are calling donations from individuals and enterprises to help people in the central region until the November 30.
