Tan Phuoc dumping ground “completely removed” for the sake of the environment

BTO – As of March 30th, Tan Phuoc dumping ground in La Gi town officially stopped operating and started putting the garbage into Tan Binh garbage treatment plant.

As known, Tan Phuoc dumping ground used to be an open-air plant covering an area of 3 hectares without using any technology, causing seriously smelly and polluted to source of groundwater in the region of Phuoc Tien hamlet, Tan Phuoc commune.

The removal of Tan Phuoc dumping ground really cheers the locals and tourists. It is much more happier when the town authorities decided to take the whole volume of trash to the newly-operated plant for pilot treatment.

Reportedly, Tan Phuoc waste treatment plant is invested by Da Loc Construction-Trading Limited Company in Ho Chi Minh city with a total investment of VND 150 billion. The project, in its first phrase, covers nearly 30 ha with a capacity of 200 tons of garbage a day
