The project is the fifth one of the group implemented in primary schools in Vietnam, following the same projects in the provinces of Ninh Thuan, Dac Lac, Gia Lai and Bac Lieu, under the message “Sowing seeds from the heart then they spring for life”.
With a total fund of more than VND 383 million, the project covers the costs of completing safe drink water supply under RO filtration system and improving-upgrading the existing sanitation system for nearly 250 students of Tan Tien 2 primary school. The group also gave the school’s students 250 gifts (worth VND 50 million in total) including knapsacks with XYT logo, cap, school aid, confectionary…. Besides, a bookcase valued at VND 15 million with many educational books, 6 benches, and 8 smart dust-bins Bridgestone were donated.
The project will be operated and managed by XYT. Teachers will be provided with soft skills on the management of safe water filtration system and hygienic sanitation system in order to raise students’ awareness of maintaining personal hygiene, as well as protect the project’ equipment.
