Over the past time, the steering board of Covid-19 prevention and control have made every effort to put the epidemic under control. Nevertheless, the province has so far recorded 5 newly-infected Covid-19 cases in Phan Thiet city and Tuy Phong district.
In the light of complicated developments of the epidemic, Chairman Phong urged functional bodies, agencies, localities to quickly5 impose social distancing in the whole city of Phan Thiet and Tuy Phong district under the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 15/CT-TTG dated March 27th, 2020, starting from noon June 24, 2021, within 14 days.
Under the Directive, the provincial People’s committee requested to halt all meetings, events, festivals, gathering over 20 people in a room, not gathering from over 10 people outside the workplaces, schools, and hospitals; Keeping a distance within each other at least 2 meters far at public places. Moreover, all religious rituals, activities of culture, sports, and entertainments at public areas and sports centers are temporarily closed down. It also asks to suspend the operation of non-essential business and service establishments in the 2 localities, including Bars, Karaoke, massage, Discos, Games, Spa, Gyms, Yoya studios, Cinema, Billiards, swimming pools, air-conditioned hairdressing salons, beauty salons, etc. In the meantime, food services facilities are only allowed to provide takeaway services.
The remaining localities of the province keep following the previous Document No. 1594/UBND-KGVXNV dated May 10th, 2021. The Binh Thuan Public Administration center and divisions of One-stop window shops in Phan Thiet and Tuy Phong are temporarily halted.
Notably, the Obstetrics faculty of the Provincial General Hospital and Tuy Phong district Medical Center are lockdown and do not accept new patients for at least 7 days.
