BTO - Since many significant damages from typhoon Yagi, the Provincial Party Standing Committee launched a donation to support people affected by typhoon No. 3 (Yagi). Mrs. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, shared: Recently, due to the impact of storm No. 3, many northern localities have suffered significant damages, with deaths and injuries; thousands of roofless, flooded or completely collapsed households, hectares paddies of rice, crops, fruit trees, and production forests were extensive damaged, facilities and infrastructure in some localities were severely damaged; many residential areas were isolated. We need the attention and support from all levels, sectors, localities, and the whole community more than ever. Accordingly, Binh Thuan province has raised a VND 2 billion fund to help people in Tuyen Quang province and VND 1 billion was withdrawn from the natural disaster prevention fund and transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front account. With all the national love, Binh Thuan will continue to mobilize support from all classes.

The whole province followed the appeal "highest and fastest" of General Secretary - President To Lam to support victims affected by storms and floods, at the same time, implementing Plan No. 930, dated September 10th, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and with the consent of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing the Donation Campaign to support people affected by typhoon No. 3.

"All the actions, works, and practical mental and material support of our community at this time will be a great driving force, with noble humanitarian significance, a support for the people affected by the disaster to believe, quickly stabilize their lives and restore production", the Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province emphasized.

According to the Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, there would be a Donation Appeal Letter sent to organizations and individuals after this event. All sources of the funds were used for the right purposes, effectively, publicly and transparently. With timely contributions and sharing, it encourages and supports the people, Party Committees and authorities in Northern provinces to overcome difficulties and stabilize citizens' lives.

On September 12th morning, there was a donation campaign with key departments, officials, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations in the whole province.
