Currently, all notices to the land acquisition have been completed with 94/94 files, reaching 100%. The construction unit has conducted organic excavation and handover of the site. Accumulated capital disbursement from the beginning of the project to now is 92,747 billion VND.
After checking the reality and listening to the reports at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Tuan Phong assessed that the relevant departments, branches, localities, and construction units have made great efforts. The overall progress of the compensation and site clearance work has progressed but is still very slow and has not completed the schedule required by the Provincial People's Committee. For the project of renewing the coastal trunk road, DT.719B under the Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section, the amount that has to pay for the remaining project-affected households is still very large (65%).
In order to speed up the site clearance and ensure the construction progress, Chairman Phong requested relevant departments, branches, localities, and construction units to focus on making more positive changes. Specifically, it should try to complete the entire routes of the project before April 30, 2023, according to the set schedule. Particularly the section from the beginning of National Highway 1A to the roundabout Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh (belonging to the project of renewing the coastal road DT.719B section Phan Thiet - Ke Ga) is expected to open on September 2, 2022.
As for the compensation for site clearance, the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of Phan Thiet City and Ham Thuan Nam district to focus on speeding up the progress, solve difficulties and problems, and organize payment and handing over the site to the construction unit as soon as possible.
