Photo exhibition about ethnic groups and religions in Vietnam

A photo exhibition, aiming to propagate about the community of ethnic groups and religions in Vietnam for the cause of national construction and defence, opened on December 21, at the square of March 26, Ha Giang city (Ha Giang province).

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The event was co-organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People's Committee of Ha Giang province.

The exhibition is divided into four areas to display photos and documents on the following topics: Ethnic minorities promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, integration and sustainable development; images and documents on Vietnamese religions and beliefs; the fight against exploitation of ethnicity and religion; images of Ha Giang province's ethnic and religious people.

This is an activity of information and propaganda about ethnicity and historical traditions, national cultural identity; the Party's viewpoints and lines, the State's policies and laws on ethnicity, belief and religion, and the values of religion for social life.

Thereby, the exhibition contributes to promoting the strength of the great national unity and religious solidarity in the cause of national construction and defence; Preserving and promoting the traditional historical and cultural values of the Vietnamese nation; Strengthening national unity and religious solidarity in realising the goals of socio-economic development and defending the Fatherland; Struggling with deviant expressions, taking advantage of beliefs and religions to adversely affect social order and safety and people's lives.
