Photo Contest "Colors of Binh Thuan"

BTO- The organizing board of artistic photo contest “The Colors of Binh Thuan 2016”, launched  by Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) in co-ordination with the provincial Literature &Arts Association, on May 16 publicly opened a meeting in the presence of the contestants and numerous photographers  to give assessment to the photos and find the winners. 

The contest attracted 351 pictures (324 colored and 27 monochrome photos) from 37 photographers, who brought  a lot of new-fangled features in line with the contest’s leitmotiv and artistic requirements, stated head of the Jury -photographer Ly Hoang Long - chairman of VAPA’s Artistic Council. The Jury have selected 100 pictures to be on display at an exhibition welcoming President Ho Chi Minh’s 126th birthday (May 19)  and then to choose the prize-winning pictures (including one first, two second, 3 third and 5 consolation prizes) for the 24th Southeast Artistic Photo Festival, which will take place in Ninh Thuan province. Eventually, photo “Hoa nhap niem vui” (Joining the joy) of photographer Trinh Van Minh won the first prize; the second prizes were awarded to “An minh” (Hiding) by Truong Ngoc Minh, and “Che bien dau nanh” (Processing soy bean) by Tran Tuy; Three third prizes went to the photos “Tinh mau tu” (Maternal love) - Ho Van Dien, “Tham ro” (check the fishing net) - Le Minh Quoc, and “Net nhac tuoi tho” (Childhood music notes)- Tran Tuy.
