Accordingly, leaders of state bodies and chairmen of the People’s committees of communes/wards inside the city are asked to mobilize the civil servants to implement good acts of saving electricity; turning off the unnecessary electrical equipment and lighting systems during 60-minute Earth hour. At the same time, banners in response to the “2020 Earth Hour” campaign are hung up in front of the local units.
As for the Binh Thuan Environment and Urban services JSC, it is necessary to set up plan to turn off at least half of public lighting systems on each road during the time.
Functional agencies and People’s committees should notice of the campaign to the businesses and services facilities to voluntarily partake in the campaign, saving the power.
Due to the impact of Covid-19 outbreak, this year’s Earth Hour campaign will be held online or televised so as to limit the crowds for the sake of the community’s health.
