Phan Thiet City imposed strict social distancing under Directive No.16 from early August 2nd

BTO- A strict Directive on Social Distancing will be imposed to Phan Thiet City from 0.00 on August 2nd, 2021 in a bid to prevent the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. Under the Directive No.16 of the Prime Minister, the time interval is 14 days on the principle of isolating and separating family from family, quarter to quarter, City from other districts/townlets in the province.

In order to minimize the threat of Covid-19 outbreak in the community, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee asked the Municipal authorities to quickly lockdown, disinfect at high-risk spread areas and trace all cases of those who had contact with the suspected Covid-19 cases.  Otherwise, they are urged to take samples for testing and carry out quarantine to relevant people.

Accordingly, people must strictly follow social distancing rules in the model of staying at home and only going outside for essential trips such as buying food and medicines or emergency care. Essential goods delivery and services are allowed. Unnecessary activities will be halted to minimize mass gatherings. Relevant Departments are asked to join the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.
