Mr. Pham Dinh Quang, deputy director of Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant shared that: “We would like to invite people to visit and check the operation of the plant for the second time to help them better understand the operation process and management of the plant, which uses modern equipment meeting national standards on environmental protection”.
Reportedly, Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant , which consists of 3 engine units with a combined capacity of 1,800 megawatts, is invested by Vietnam Electricity (EVN). Since it was put into commercial operation until mid-July, 2020, the plant has generated 21,4 billions kWh of power for the national power grid, contributing to ensure national power security, especially in the southern region.
During the operation, the plant has signed a commitment on environmental protection regulations, safe and stable operation, and strict compliance with environmental control regulations, waste water monitoring parameters.
