Nafoods Group’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Manh Hung expressed shared his strong desire to carry out an investment project in developing a safe and organic dragon fruit growing area in Binh Thuan. He hoped that the authorities of Binh Thuan province would facilitate the company’s cooperation with dragon fruit cooperatives in production and consumption of dragon fruit with a total area of 10,000 hectares. He also said that Nafoods would rent about 200-500 hectares of land for the implementation of its hi-tech dragon fruit model and another 10 hectares for its warehouse, fertilizers and cold storage to preserve fresh dragon fruit.
At the event, Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Hai agreed with the company’s plan to develop a safe, organic dragon fruit growing area in Binh Thuan. He asked relevant departments, agencies support and creat favorable conditions for the investor to finish legal procedures in accordance with the State’s laws. Especially, it is important to define the right locations and land areas for hi-tech dragon fruit growing area and supporting work.
