The NA leader affirmed that the Party and State always pay special attention to supporting those who have contributed to the nation. At the same time, the whole community, including businesses, have always accompanied the State in the work, she said.
Earlier the same day, the top legislator laid a wreath at the Monument to Martyrs and the Statue of Vietnam Heroic Mothers in the province. She also visited a number of local policy beneficiary families, and offered incense at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Dien Ban district.
Quang Nam is one of the localities suffering from heavy consequences of the war, with 23 percent of its population being policy beneficiaries. The province has 14,792 Vietnam Heroic Mothers, 911 of them are alive. The province is also home to 65,000 martyrs and over 30,000 wounded and sick soldiers.
