Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie joined youth campaign to clean up beaches on Phu Quy island

BTO- Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie lately had a trip to Phu Quy island district of Binh Thuan province, where she and local youth cleaned up beaches  in response to environmental protection movement launched in the island.

Accordingly, H’Hen Nie,  along with nearly 100 students and youth collected garbage on the area of Trieu Duong Bay (Tam Thanh commune), where local people often take picnics in holidays. Nie shared that she always pays special attention to activities for the sake of environmental protection and cleaning up the sea, saying that she desires to join such meaningful programs to raise public awareness of protecting the ocean biodiversity and the importance of tourism development in association of the protection of natural resources. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2021, she also learnt about cultural characteristics and people of the outpost island.
