On October 5, deputy secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van An led a delegation to visit the Cham priests and families in Phong Phu and Phu Lac communes- Tuy Phong district.
At the visited sites, the delegation presented gifts to the Cham temples, priests and other dignitaries in the localities. Mr. Duong Van An praised the satisfactory results in agricultural production, business and the construction of new-style rural areas made by the authorities and people of the two communes. He stressed that the Cham community have significantly contributed to the development in many aspects of the localities.
Mr. An, on behalf of the province’s leaders, wished a happy and cozy Kate festival. He encouraged local authorities and people to continue their solidarity and patriotism, overcome difficulties to strive in production and business, and actively engage in emulative movements launched by local goverments and fronts.
On October 8, vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Hoa and representative leaders of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, department of Internal Affairs and Bac Binh district brought gifts and best wishes to the Cham dignitaries and royal families in the communes of Phan Hiep and Phan Thanh in Bac Binh district.
Mr. Hoa appreciated great contribution of the Cham priests and dignitaries of the Cham ethnic minority in the cause of socioeconomic development in the two communes. He expressed strong hope that the Cham Balamon community in Bac Binh district would keep promoting their efforts to reinforce the national unity bloc in order to fulfil all tasks and missions set for the year 2018 and the following years.
