Leader visited and congratulated the Cham community on Kate festival

BTO- A delegation led by deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Huynh Thanh Canh on October 18 paid visits and presented gifts to the Cham Balamon people in the communes of  Phan Thanh and Phan Hiep (Bac Binh district) on the occasion of Kate festival 2017.

The delegation visited and extended the best wishes to the Cham royal families,  diginitaries and priests in the managing board of hamlets Tinh My, Mai Lanh and Tri Thai.

Representatives of the two communes reported to the leader about the socioeconomic situation, security and social order of the localities. Mr. Canh, on behalf of the province’s leaders, highly apprecitated the continously efforts of the authorities and people in overcoming difficulties to boost agricultural production, develop local economy and build new-style rural areas. He said that, these outcomes have been greatly contributed by the people of the Cham Balamon ethnic minority. Mr. Canh also wishes the Cham people in Phan Thanh and Phan Hiep communes good health to enjoy a happy and safe Kate festival as well as a bumper crop in 2017.
