The union’s members include Ham Thanh dragon fruit cooperative, Phu Hoi organic dragon fruit cooperative, Phan Long co-operative, Ham Minh 30 cooperative, Ham Kiem cooperative … with a total cultivated dragon fruit areas of 174 hectares.
“Gathering small cooperatives to set up a union is a very important and necessary step to solve the current difficulties and limitations that dragon fruit cooperatives have faced, including small-scale and decentralized production and consumption, high production costs. Particularly, the establishment of this union will contribute to solving dragon fruit outputs towards building up stable export market for Binh Thuan dragon fruit”, shared the Union’s Chairman of the Board Vo Nhu Trieu.
