BTO – As many as 120 volunteers who are resort staffs, locals and foreigners flocked to beach in front of Binh An temple (Mui Ne – Phan Thiet) to clean up loads of trashes along the beach there.

It is known that the yearly Southwest wind blows and brings mass of waste and trashes to ashore, making the area look like a dumping ground.  As the National holiday (September 2nd) is coming, the Association of Binh Thuan tourism Association has called upon the community to join the environmental protection and clean-up campaign to improve the tourism environment.

Through practical actions, the volunteers has cleaned up a significant distance along the beach of Mui Ne, mostly in Binh An temple area. Reportedly, the weekly Clean-up Day campaign take place on every Thursday, which has become a regular activity of the locals and foreign visitors there. It aims at raising the local fishermen’s awareness of trash dumping affects and calling upon the community to the cause of environmental protection.
