The project has a total fund of nearly VND 300 million, which provided assistance for vulnerable people in Tan Thuan commune and Thuan Nam townlet (Ham Thuan Nam district). Earlier, the same project was successfully organized in Phu Lac commune and Lien Huong townlet of Tuy Phong district.
According to Mrs. Le Thi Thanh Nhan -Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Red Cross, this project is a supplementary component of Project Responding to Covid-19 pandemic, which is sponsored by International Red Cross and Red Crescent (ICRC) and being implemented in 10 provinces/cities nationwide. The fund, donated by Swiss Red Cross via ICRC, will be allocated to people facing difficulties after losing jobs and income due to the impact of Covid-19 pandemic; people with fatal diseases and people with disabilities.
