First Countdown Festival rang in the New Year and Decade in Phan Thiet

Countdown festival, in its first time, has been held in the coastal city of Phan Thiet, took place in Nguyen Tat Thanh square on the night of December 31^st, 2019. The event has brought the best moment for both locals and visitors before, during and after the moment of the New Year comes. Notably, gorgeous firework display has totally cheered the beholders.

According to Mr. Ngo Minh Chinh – Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, “this is a very spectacular music show and fireworks festival to ring in the New Year, serving the locals and tourists to celebrate the springtime. This meaningful festival targets at luring many more tourists to Binh Thuan in the coming years.”

Spectacular fireworks erupted the midnight in Phan Thiet city on January 1st, 2020.

Before the transitional period between the old and new year, large crowds from many places thronged Nguyen Tat Thanh square to watch the special art show and first New Year’s EVE firework..

After the countdown time, the first firework was lit up at just 0 o’clock on January 1^st, 2020 and lasted for 15 minutes. Revelers cheered and wished to each other their best wishes.
