The isolation room, worth nearly VND 600 million, is designed, installed and experimented according to the Health sector’s standards, fully meeting 34 criteria (including Design, ventilation, and microbiology, micro dust).

The room which is constructed by EVNGENCO 3, is used for preventing cross-contamination from room to room thanks to pressure inside lower than that of the surroundings. The air can only flow into the isolation room but not escape from the room, thereby preventing contaminated air from escaping room.
Over the past time, Binh Thuan general hospital had received and cured for 9 covid-19 patients. During the medical treatment and care, all 9 patients have fully recovered and were discharged from the hospital.
Even though, in the light of complicated situation of Covid-19 pandemic all over the world, the donation of such room will be a great support for the local province to give better service and healthcare to in-patients, especially patients with airborne contagious diseases.
On the occasion, the sponsors also offered Binh Thuan general hospital valuable medical equipment, including: 100 protective suits, 30 drop-preventive glasses; and an amount of VND 50 million.
The donation is backed by EVNGENCO 3 and its membership units (Vinh Tan Thermo power Corporation and Management board of Vinh Tan Thermo Power Plants).
