BTO – Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) Vu Van Tam recently led a business delegation to visit Phu Quy Island district of Binh Thuan province.
Right after setting foot on the island, Tam made an inspection trip to the construction sites of the project building storm-sheltering anchorage for fishing boats in Phu Quy island and a system of stone embankment along the coast. He also arranged a working session with the district’s Party Committee, People’s Committee over the socioeconomic situation of this outpost island. At the meeting, MARD’s leader also offered some gifts to the local authorities, coast guard force, marine surveillance and typical fishermen of Phu Quy district.
