Ceremony marking the 40th founding  anniversary of  Binh Thuan Newspaper

Thuan Hai newspaper (Binh Thuan Newspaper today) was established in October 27, 1976, and that day has become the traditional day of Binh Thuan Newspaper.

On behalf of the editoral board, reporters and officers of Binh Thuan Newspaper, Editor-in-chief Le Hong Van reviewed the 40-year history of founding and developing of the agency to be a vanguard force in the dissemination of the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws, deserving the voice of the Party and the people of Binh Thuan province. Under the leadership of the provincial Party, Binh Thuan Newspaper has made great contribution to encouraging comrades, party members and residents across the province to strive for significant achievements in socioeconomic  development, national construction and defense; building political system; promoting democratic socialism to make Binh Thuan province more and more prosperous.

In the first days after the establishment, Binh Thuan Newspaper only released 3 issues per month (each issue has 700 8-page publications), mostly circulating in provincial and district-levels agencies. Currently, the newspaper has made breakthrough expanse with 5 issues per week accessing to commnues/wards. Besides, e-newspaper, including Vietnamese and English-language online publications,  provides readers with up-to-date news, plays an important role in promoting cultural characteristics of Binh Thuan to the world and makes a remarkable contribution to propagation and foreign affairs.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung extended his congratulations to generations of journalists in Binh Thuan over the past 40 years, citing that the editorial staff and reporters of Binh Thuan Newspaper should unceasingly improve themselves to provide exact and practical news for local people, effectively populirize the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, highten their responsibilities  and be vanguard in ideological and cultural front.
