Campaign “Let’s Clean up the Ocean” 2020 launched in La Gi town

BTO- A ceremony to launch and implement the campaign “Let’s Clean up the Ocean” 2020 was held in La Gi port, with the participation of many 100 youth union members and border guard soldiers.

The campaign was co-organized by the provincial Border Guard Command, the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Branch, and department of Natural Resources and Environment. After the launching ceremony, hundreds of youth actively collected garbage to clean up the beach around La Gi port. Hundreds kilograms of waste were collected and handed over to the Public constructions management board of Lagi town for treatment.

This meaningful activity aims to raise awareness among youth, young soldiers and local residents about the significant role the ocean and emphasize their responsibility for protecting the marine environment.
