Binh Thuan won 1st prize at National Science & Technology Contest

BTO- A project of two 12th graders from Binh Thuan is among 13 projects receiving the first prizes at the annual National Science and Technology Contest for high school students in the southern region.

At the awarding ceremony was held on March 19 in Ton Duc Thang University-Ho Chi Minh City, the organizing board awarded 13 first prizes, 25 seconds prizes, 35 third prizes and 49 fourth prizes. Tran Duy Chien and Nguyen Thi Thanh Dung (from class 12A9- Duc Linh high School- Duc Linh district) were honored at the contest with a project in the field of chemistry. This is the first-ever first prize of Binh Thuan province at a national-level science contest. 

Reportedly, Binh Thuan sent 6 projects (by 10 students from 8th – 12th grade) to this contest. Those projects have been selected from a provincial-level contest.
