Binh Thuan tourism sector plans to launch new tourism promotion program

BTO – On March 11th morning, Deputy Director of the department of Culture-Sports and Tourism Nguyen Lan Ngoc chaired a meeting to promote a 2019 tourism program with many preferential for students, labors and employees. Participants included representatives of the tourism sectors of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Thuan province.

With the aim of serving for the community, the HMC Department of Tourism in coordination with Binh Thuan department of Culture-Sports and Tourism launched tourism promotion program with preferential tours opening for students, employees and labors in HCMC, Phan Thiet city and neighboring provinces.

On the basis of price concessions, travel agencies in HCMC and 3-star accommodations in Binh Thuan shall decide the preferential levels for tours in low-season days (from Sundays to Thursdays). Particularly, beneficiaries shall receive a favor of no more than VND 1 million for a 2-day and 1-night tour, and no more than VND 1.5 million for a 3-day and 1-night tour.

At the meeting, the relevant participants discussed discount prices, quality of services and sightseeing sites in Phan Thiet city (Tien Thanh – Ham Thuan Nam, the heart of the city, Ham Tien – Mui and Hon Rom areas).

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Director Ngoc agreed with the program and wished it successful. She asked the tourism sector to enhance promotion, advertisement to lure visitors. In addition, the Binh Thuan travel agencies are urged to expand tours to all the students, labors and employees in the locality.

As Scheduled, the promotional program will be launched officially on March 26th and implemented until the end of the year of 2019.
