Binh Thuan to temporarily suspend unnecessary services from may 3 in prevention of Covid-19 pandemic

BTO- The provincial People’s Committee lately issued a document to ask unnecessary  services as: bars, karaoke parlors, massage  parlours, discotheques, game rooms… to close from May 3, 2021 amid fears of Covid-19 infection.

Accordingly, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee requested departments, agencies and authorities of districts/city/town  to strictly take drastic measure in prevention of Covid-19 pandemic, while temporarily stopping public activities and events with many people (festivals, trade fairs, night markets).

Residents are also required to wear masks and keep safe distance at public places and strictly abide by preventive measures of Ministry of Health under the 5K message (in Vietnamese). All violations will be punished in accordance with Ministry of Health’s regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.

Mass media, social networks take responsibility for intensifying propaganda to urge people implement prevention measures to protect themselves and their families. The provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control will keep on inspections on work related to Covid-19 prevention in localities.
