The event, which is due to take place at 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday (March 27), calls on all households, business and educational institutions, offices… to turn off light and unnecessary equipment within 1 hour for the purpose of protecting the Earth against climate change via saving power.
Currently, departments and sectors are actively mobilizing officials, employees and residents to take action in support of the nature. Especially, Binh Thuan Power Corporation has well prepared for ensuring smooth operation of power supply during the Earth Hour. The company also urged its customers to join the campaign by turning off lighting systems, advertising panels of restaurants, hotels, public light networks…. Dragon fruit growing households are also encouraged to turn-off their lighting systems for dragon fruit gardens from 8:30 -9:30 PM on Saturday night (March 27) as an action to contribute to the Earth Hour campaign.
