Binh Thuan to beef up preparation for 2019 Investment Promotion Conference

The meeting was also attended by leaders of concerning departments, agencies. As reported, this conference’s goal is to attract strategic investors with strong ability for major projects that can make breakthroughs in socioeconomic development of Binh Thuan province. The up-coming conference is expected to be a forum for potential investors, domestic and international enterprises, organizations to look for business opportunities. Especially, this event will create the best chances for Binh Thuan to introduce and promote its own potential and advantages to develop in many sectors as well as enhance international relations. Strategic investors will have a platform to share and exchange their visions, experiences in investing in some localities with conditions similar with Binh Thuan.

The conference, which is scheduled to take place before Octorber , will focus on calling investment in hi-end tourism projects, recreational centers, commercial centers in urban areas and residential areas in Phan Thiet city, La Gi town, and the districts of  Bac Binh, Tuy Phong, Ham Thuan Nam, contributing to improving urban apperance towards developing Mui Ne as a national tourism area under the Decision No. 1772/QĐ-TTg dated on December 18, 2018 of the Prime Minister. In addition, Binh Thuan’s authorities also attach special importance to attract projects investing in scientific-technological applications, hi-tech agriculture with the purpose of bringing the locality high economic values.

Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Hai basically agreed with all targets and orientations set for the conference. He asked department of Planning and Investment to actively work with functional departments and agencies to issue detailed plan so that the  conference can be held as schedule. He also requested department of Industry and Trade, department of Natural Resources & Environment to review the list of projects under the consideration for granting investment certificates at this event. Department of Agriculture and Rural development should check the planning hi-tech agriculture areas then propose some projects in need of investment.
