The destination that has attracted the greatest number of tourists is Ham Tien – Mui Ne. All tourist accommodations reached the high-level of capacity of using room. Particularly, the newly built Cliff Resort and Residences, which has been put into operation since August 2012, was fully packed with guests including 70 percent of foreigners on that national vacation. Most domestic visitors from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat City, and the Central Highlands provinces would like to come here because of its styles of attentive services and nice, poetic landscape. According to Mrs. Phung Kim Vy, chairman of executive management of the Cliff Resort and Residences, “normally, the capacity of using room obtains from 90 to 100 percent on Tet days or festivals”
Likewise, the number visitors coming to Tien Thanh tourist area (Thuan Quy) also increased from 2 to 3 times compared to weekends. “Tien Thanh has 32 tourist projects with building permits. It is able to receive nearly 20,000 tourists. Of these, 16 projects are in operation and welcomed about 7,000 visitors (reaching 90-100 percent of room capacity)” - said Mr. Ngo Minh Doanh, director of Tien Thanh Tourist Area Management.
Generally, Binh Thuan tourism sector has gained some remarkable results in tourism and environment management at crowded places on the last holidays. Otherwise, thanks to the gradual improvement of the local people’s awareness, prior shortcomings have been step by step remedied.
