At the meeting, leader of department of Health asked district-level hospitals/ medical centers and Binh Thuan General Hospital to review preparation work to ensure safety for vaccinated people. Reportedly, Binh Thuan  has totally 11 vaccinating places with 19,000 vaccine doses.  Currently, units have well prepared all necessary procedures to ensure safety before, during and after giving vaccine shots. 2 injection tables will be arranged at each vaccinating point. Binh Thuan General Hospital (with 3,500 vaccine shots) will have 6 injection tables.

Medical facilities in the province suggested to arrange groups of vaccinated people with different injection time to avoid crowded gatherings, ensuring effective implementation of Covid-19 prevention and control.

According to Le Van Hong-deputy director of department of Health, depending on each unit’s ability, the second vaccination drive can be started from the afternoon of June 15 and kept non-stop through the next days (including Saturdays and Sundays) until June 21. Especially, safety is set to be put as the most priority during the vaccination drive, and Binh Thuan General Hospital takes responsibility for providing professional supports for other units.
