Binh Thuan: Over 113,500 people reached COVID-19 support package

Particularly, 113,593 persons have been granted their support, with a combined fund of over VND 116 billion. They are people with meritorious services to the country and their relatives, people who are receiving monthly allowances, poor and near poor households. The support package delivery has been carried out timely to ensure seriousness, publicity and transparency.

Up to now, localities in the whole province have not reported any complaint or negative feedback regarding the payment of financial aids.   

Currently, localities are implementing payment for beneficiary group of employees whose labour contracts were suspended, those taking leave without payment, laid-off employees not eligible for unemployment benefits, individual business households that have a tax return of under VND VND 100 million/yeartemporarily suspend their business under the Government’s Resolution No.42.
