Leaders of Binh Thuan province has recently sent a compliment letter to leaders and people of Phu Yen province – a locality where the storm Damrey (known as Storm No.12) has wreaked havoc recently. Accordingly, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front committee of Binh Thuan province, respectfully offered deepest sympathy for the losses that the cadres and People of Phu Yen province were suffered from the past storm No.12. In order to help the locality of Phu Yen overcome the current difficulties, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front committee of Binh Thuan province supported an amount of VND 300 million. The donation is disbursed from the local state budget and social mobilization.
The activity highlights the Vietnamese tradition of “Healthy leaves cover torn leaves” and connects the people’s hearts between the two localities.
