Accordingly, the SCPPC agreed with the intention investment in embankment project in prevention of flood, responding to climate change, associating with environmental improvement for Ca Ty River. The project is funded from the province’s state budget in the 2016-2020 periods and 2021-2026 periods under the suggestion of the provincial People’s committee.
As the project is conducted, the residents affected by the project shall be relocated in the 29-hectare Tien Loi residential area, according to the local authorities.
Based on the current infrastructure, the would-be project will be designed so as to ensure road safety. The construction is expected to contribute to the province’s socioeconomic development, improving the Ca Ty River’s environment and boosting the local tourism.
