Accordingly, those activities include
mobilizing local enterprises, organizations, units, and individuals to make
donations for “Fund for the poor” at all levels and social security programs in
response to the emulation movement “The whole nation join hands for the poor- no
one left behind” launched by the Government Prime Minister; organizing
activities to raise funds to support poor and near-poor households, people with
difficult circumstances, poor people living in outlying areas, islands, and
areas affected by natural disasters or environmental incidents.
Reportedly, the funds for the poor at all levels have mobilized over VND 7.8
billion so far, accounting for 83.1% of the whole year’s plan (VND 9.5 billion).
In which, the provincial fund realized VND 1.4 billion (64.38%), the funds of
districts raised over VND 2.9 billion (81.12%), and funds of communes/wards
performed nearly VND 3.5 billion (96.33%).
