Binh Thuan exports on track of recovery post-Covid-19

BTO - Vietnam has gained success in keeping Covid-19 transmission rate under control thanks to the Government’s prompt, proactive and decisive response to the outbreak. Therefore, Binh Thuan’s enterprises have returned to normal production and business, many companies have boosted trading and export activities.

Statistics show that, October’s export revenue of Binh Thuan gained an estimate of USD 37.8 million, an increase of 9.44% compared with that of the previous month, but reduction of 15.31% compared with that of the same period last year. In particular, group of marine products realized USD 14.2 million (up 6%), group of farm produce posted an export revenue of USD 0.9 million (up 11.64% against September’s figure); group of other products gained an export turnover of USD 22.8 million (up 11.62%).

Accumulative export turnover in 10 months reached an estimate of USD 371.96 million, a slight fall of 3.1% in comparison with the corresponding period last year. In which, seafood export enjoyed an increase of 12.12%, with USD 128.8 million while agricultural products gained a total export revenue of USD 10.5% million (up 6.21%).
