Binh Thuan authorities give a boost to control on markets during Tet holidays

BTO- Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Hai has recently urged the functional authorities to beef up management and control on Tet markets in terms of price stabilization, smuggling combat, social and order safety, etc. during the Lunar New Year 2019.

The move was dispatched to the provincial inter-sectorial authorities so that essential goods can be circulated throughout the province, avoiding the lack of commodities after Tet holidays. It is requested to meet the needs of Tet goods for people in mountainous, remote and island areas. On the other hand, the quality and prices of Tet products must abide by regulations of the Laws of Trade.

The Chairman also asked the functional bodies of districts, town, city to strictly manage the business activities, transport of livestock’s, seafood products before putting them into the markets.

The food safety and hygiene is also taken into consideration, minimizing food poisoning cases as demands for food consumption are on the rise before, during and after the Lunar New Year.

On the same time, crime prevention and evil actions may be complicated and affect to the locals’ peace. Therefore, the province’s leader asks the security force to boost patrol and criminal repress to bring the peace and happiness to the locals and visitors.
