“All-people blood donation day”  launched in Binh Thuan

BTO – To mark the 21st anniversary of the Prime Minister’s Decision on choosing April 7 as “All-people blood donation day” (April 7, 2000-2021), Binh Thuan provincial Trade Union has launched in-depth propaganda on that meaningful activity on mass media from April 1st to April 30th, with a peak on April 7th.

Accordingly, people from all walks of life are encouraged to response to the message “Safe blood donation – Don’t be afraid of Covid-19”, “Donating blood to save people’s lives – Please donate blood regularly”, etc. This year’s blood donation event is expected to have the participation of 100 percent of civil servants at grassroots levels. All the blood donation events must ensure safety regulations on Covid-19 prevention and combat.

Additionally, all typical individuals, organizations with outstanding achievements in blood donation and  mobilizing families, relatives, friends, etc. to join the campaign will be promptly appraised. Thereby, it can gradually improve the awareness on purposes and noble meaning of “Blood donation to save people” while encouraging a wide range of people to participate in the event.
