Activities to mark the 91st anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day

Speaking at the meetings, leaders praised ceaseless efforts and considerable contributions by the two press agencies in information dissemination of guidelines and policies of the Party, State and the province’s authorities.

Mr. Canh and Mr. An pressed their hope that press agencies would continue to enhance the propagation on social and economic affair, introduce typical examples and new factors in all aspects of the social life. They urged Binh Thuan Newspaper and Binh Thuan Radio &Television to promote their results achieved to better bring the Party and State’s policies and laws to readers and people from all walks of life. They also convey the best wishes to journalists on th occasion of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day.

Earlier, on June 19, a variety of sporting and cultural events were held in Binh Thuan Newspaper and Binh Thuan Radio & Television Station to celebrate the 91^st anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day. Reporters and editors from the two press agencies sports competitions such as: billards, table tennis, volley ball, slow-bicycle race, bag jumping ….and a karaoke contest held in friendly and jubilant atmosphere.

A ceremony to mark the 91^st anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day solemnly took place on June 21 with the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung -Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Duong Van An-deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam-vive Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, along with many jornalists from press agencies in the province. Mr. Le Hong Van-Chairman of Binh Thuan provincial Journalist’s Association reviewed heroic periods of The Vietnamese revolutionary press. Over the past years, Binh Thuan’s press has significantly developed in quality and content, contributing to improving the spiritua life of people as well as directly communicating the Party’s resolutions and guidelines, the State’s policies and laws to the public. As of now, Binh Thuan has totally 300 journalists working for local press agencies. Many journalistic works have won national Press Awards in 2013, 2014, 2015.

At the event, winners of the 4^th provincial Press Awards were announced, including  7 prizes for printing Newspaper, 3 prizes for radio,  and 6 prizes for television.
